Objectives
Using a case study approach, engage the participants in the exploration of core concepts of digital footprints, digital identity, searching, ownership, privacy, and networking to enable them to explore core concepts of digital literacy and unpack assumptions around its complexities.
Learning outcomes

- Evaluate your personal digital literacy
- Acquire strategies to develop digital literacy of others
- Demonstrate an understanding of digital identity and how it can be consciously and sub-consciously developed

4. Google map activity
a) Using Google Maps locate your school using the Satellite option and Post a Snap shot of your School from an aerial view into the discussion forum by replying to your own post.
b) Compare it with the school of anyone else in the course - What are your observations? Post your observations next to the image you posted. (Remember to optimize the image so that its not too heavy).
Don't worry if you have not been able to post your image, we will come back to this activity in the First zoom session.

Assignment
A space to upload the output from this week's activities in order to get feedback from the Facilitator.
In this space, you should post a Well formatted Word document (of 600 words in total) which contains:
1. Your reflections about your own digital literacy level - what are the elements you would like to improve upon and any anecdotes that you would share with your eventual trainees?
2. What struck you as valuable lessons learnt from profiling a Digital Education Leader?
3. One short learning activity you would set for your trainees to improve their search strategies. Describe the digital or non-digital tools you would use for this activity.
Assessment Criteria (For Certification)
1. Clear narrative of your digital footprint self-assessment with anecdotes - (it could be your own or from an acquaintance) [10 marks]
2. Lessons learnt about how people can misuse the information you have left as your digital footprint. [5 marks]
3. Thoroughness and innovativeness of the learning activity that you will propose for developing search strategies. [10 marks]
