1. Reflections from week 2

Week 2 reflection
Reflection

This week you can do a video reflection on Flipgrid? See the "How to: Flipgrid" guide.

Share one “Aha” or Wow moment from last week. And one question you have. This doesn’t have to be something you don’t understand but could be something you are thinking more about.

2. How to expand your PLN

In week 2 you will have already reflected on your existing Personal Learning Network . This video gives you some quick and simple ideas for how to expand this.

3. Reflection Pause

Stop for a moment and think about
What this video says to you
Do you think the video is a valuable resource – if not, why ?
Whose voices are “invisible”?
How can “we” improve/empower the voice of the “invisible”?

Did you know that most articles written about the global South are still written by those in the global North ... What does that say and mean?

5. Critical evaluation of a digital tool/resource

Berkeley Guide
Guide

Use this activity as an opportunity to evaluate a new resource or tool you are considering using in your classroom in the future. Go to  the Google digital skills for Africa website and select a a resource that interests you that you may want to use in your classroom/ school or for professional development with a group of teachers maybe?

Using the Berkeley guide evaluate the resource. the aim is to provide a reliable evaluation you can share with others in the group. One way to think about this evaluation is to consider how this resource might be relevant and useful for you in your own context.
