Internet is a very valuable tool for researching. I personally use Google search for all my needs as a teacher. It's not so easy to locate exactly what you are looking for especially if you are limited on internet browsing. I use other means of getting information such as Facebook messenger and WhatsApp.
To find particular files I use file extensions in addition to the term I type on google. Example: Introduction to computers PDF. This results will be mostly downloadable files with that file extension. Ohers I use are: Doc, Ppt, etc.
Internet is a good means for getting information important for your teaching. Most of the time we take our searching for granted. That is, we don't verify the information or the sources and we sometimes just go with what we see.
