The video was quite interesting in that it reaffirms some of the things I had mentioned in my previous reflection about one's digital footprint. Particularly how one's digital footprint can be advantageous if it is positive and also detrimental if it is negative. All that we do on cyberspace, as mentioned by the speaker, is recorded and some of it can be tied directly to us when we use facebook and google sign ins. As educators, we must teach our students to use the web wisely so that they formulate a digital footprint that is pleasing, safe, and honest. It is true that many employers nowadays will simply google your name or search for you on facebook and what they see is a reflection of you as a person.
