When it comes to my digital self, I have the benefit of being away from social media for years so anything about me would be considered old news. If it is not for work I tend to not interact with anything. Social media is solely there for communication with those closest to me. Even if I have social media, I do not post. That being said, my family tend to be avid users of social media and the internet all around so some information about me is there, however not to the extent that I would worry about. What I have noticed doing this exercise, however, is the certain reliance on certain websites such as Google and its services. From both a professional, educational, and personal perspective, Google plays an important role. The accounts may be different, but the service provider remains the same.
