What couldn’t you easily investigate
I was able to easily find my DEL and discover much about her professional, academic life and interests. The information was consistent across all platforms. However her personal life was not as easily accessible;I was able to glean a few tidbits about her sense of humour. While I did identify close, possibly familial connections I did not deepen the dive by investigating her through their digital footprint.
I liked how she presented herself online, it felt deliberately curated and constant. It made me think about ensuring that my information is consistent across all platforms. Which made me google myself, and realize I'd forgotten about some of the social media platforms I'd used, but they hadn't forgotten about me.
