In comparing both of the Scenarios, the one with the clearest cut vision, as well as being realistic, is Donna. Donna understands the need for change and development while also preparing for the future. Technology is at a point of continuously updating to the effect that what we learn/teach today to many students may become outdated in the near future. We, as teachers, are taught to educate our students for the present, and by the time they are finished, the future has already reached. For Donna, she allows us to see technological development as an investment for students and school development. Rather than allowing only the school as an institution to develop, she thinks of the potential development in terms of access as well as being grounded in reality.

When it comes to the implementation of, as a Belizean, we must come to the reality of the financial situation within our government and institutes, and that many may see such investment as a way off future. The idea may always be present, and so may the planning, but the actual implementation may not even be addressed. Many wish to see immediate investment, especially when dealing with large amounts of money, and this can be said for many management, including my own. At the same time in understanding the benefits of education, I also have to look at the viewpoint of how people see monetary investment.

Students, on a whole, can be seen as a very technologically curious group of individuals and many would welcome it, provided that the technology be provided rather than a BYOD situation. This is because if students are forced to bring their own device, many would feel like their financial situation may be put under a microscope especially within the realm of their peers. While we may not want that, such things may be unavoidable. Students can be very creative and interactive, however, without the tools needed for their growth they will be limited by the society around them. Students, as well as educators and education facilities as a whole, will be some of the individuals that are directly affected the most while society as a whole slowly but surely changes as institutions produce more technologically savvy and adaptable students.

The main impact that I see happening is in the change of how a classroom takes place and the communication that becomes possible with that change. The increased access to education may lead to more opportunities for those individuals that wish to attend distant schools but not incur the cost of such a drastic change to a foreign environment. People, initially, maybe a bit averse to the new structural ideas but as time proceeds and the benefits become clearer, the progress towards a better digital environment will become more demanded and clearer.
