I search on google for my full name and I couldn’t find any article about me then I did another search but this time I used quotations to force google to search on my full name. I was surprised since google gave me zero hits. In truth, this happened because I have limited my social life to be visible publicly. I have tweaked the setting of various apps to conceal my identity from google search engine.
1. My Digital self is concealed from google search engine avoiding exposure to others who are gathering any information from me.
2. I am an individual that enjoys being at the background. I don’t like being on the spot light.
3. I choose what content to relate or share on social media. Hence, I see consistency in my personal and social life.
4. As a public worker and a known figure in the community, I do mind my digital footprints. I prefer have dual Facebook social life rather than compromise my persona negatively, in case I get involved in an appropriate event.
