The online resource I have selected is Effective Networking.

The reason for this selection is due to the fact that before change and movement can happen, we must first be able to communicate and share our ideas with those around us. We also need to be able to be confident in talking and be interpersonal with others as well.

Based on the Berkley guide, the following evaluation is as follows:

  1. Authority - The author is a Grow with Google Programme which is an initiative through which the parent company, Google, partner with libraries, schools, and other organizations to provide digital literacy workshops and one-on-one coaching
  2. Purpose - This resource was made available for a multitude of reasons and audiences. It is said to aim from business owners, to job seekers, or to anyone willing to learning how to network whether in an online or offline setting.
  3. Publication & format - The resource was published in an online medium via the Google Digital Skills for Africa platform.
  4. Relevance - It is relevant as it aids in the methods for developing both offline and online networks that may aid in a country such as ours whereby many networks are closed off.
  5. Date of publication - No specific publishing date or update date was given.
  6. Documentation - No sources were cited on either the website or the given handout.

Conclusion: In conclusion, the resources given can be seen to be able to aid in both a personal and professional environment. It can be also seen as an added benefit if multiple people utilize the resources available and use it to better engage with each other.
