The issues and challenges that I have with finding information online are how to do better searches using appropriate search engines, how to deal with information overload, how to identify which information is appropriate and how to make decisions about words and phrases that I will use in my search. I often wonder what sources are valid and whether or not I am communicating valid information
The online platforms that I use seem to suit my needs but I am also aware that since I use mostly Google that I may be limiting myself.
I do realize that I need to do a critical evaluation now, I am trying out the new search engines that I have learnt in this course. I use .edu's and .org's as I believe those are not fake. I found it difficult to spot the fake one's given. Yes, I had to verify and realize the importance of critical evaluation as the trustworthiness of online information leaves much to desire. I do not wish to be mislead and misinformed when doing research.
